Spinning and sweating to the tunes with Angela!  tried on the Strassburg Sock last night.  I am sure it is going to take a while to get use to.   I had a dream that i was going to run the marathon and i was stuck in some house looking for my shoes when the gun went off.   What a bad feeling.

Im  Back!   Ran a simple 8 miles tonight.   Felt pretty good.   a little warm.   Foot felt a little better.   The Steassburg sock must of helped some.  Plus i have been icing it during the day.

The Hurricane hald is one of my favorites.   Got up 4 am. Met up with Steve and Clyde.  We traveled our way up to Hurricane and met up with Dustin.   They bussed up 13 miles and dropped us off .   We were in for a head wind.   My right foot (planters gave me some problems causing me to change my gate.  around mile 3 I planted my self behind some tall fella and used him as a wind shield for 5 miles.  I wish i could of pushed it a bit more coming down of the hill into laverkin.  Fun race.  enjoyed the experience.  the race is orgaized well.

I did my best at the cotton days.   Not many people there.   Steve Olson and Dave Holt where there.    I got third overall but the age div was split up 15 year for each Div.   My Div was 30-45.  I probably should of sat this one out.  since i have been battling some sort of foot injury but i had already paid and they would not give me back my money.    Race started out at washington museum.   Ran through washington up past green springs.  I can manage the pain if i am on a flat surface.  On the down hill side is where I start to have a few problems because of the pounding on the feet.  I have a doctors appointment today with the foot doctor.  I hope all goes well.

I went to the doctor and the Doctor Said exactly what I thought.  I have Plantar Fasciitis.  He showed me a few more stretches.  It is a relief actually knowing that is the problem .  I have decided to just run the half this weekend with Dustin.    I Ran with Steve last night at a pace that would of made Clyde beg for mercy.   We ran my usual 6-mile evening route.

I ran the Ogden Half Marathon.   Went up with Dustin and his family Friday afternoon.  We arrived in Ogden around 7:30 and got are numbers.  I had the privilege of meeting some of the guys on the blog.   Steve Ashbaker, Paul Petersen, Andy and a few others. All of them are amazing runners.   I knew coming into this race that it would pretty much be just a training run due to my planters.  The course is down hill and the road slants to the right.  Since my injury is on my right foot this caused some additional problems?  I tried to run in the middle of the road when possible.    I managed to finish. I loved the course.  Maybe next year I will come back and run the marathon if I do not run Boston.

$100.00 for gas, $80.00 for entry fee.  $30 for food.   10 hours of driving time.   Getting my picture taken with Dustin Ence, Paul Petersen. Steve Ashbaker, Priceless!!!

Quality time with sweet Angela!      I asked her if she knew CPR!  She told me that it would disrupt her work out!    Well I guess i better not have a problem.

Another hour on the bike tonight. I convinced Anne a young (single) girl from work to come and work out.   I wore the same clothes i wore this morning and man did i stink it up.

During my down time I have really been thinking about getting a Garmin.  Who amoung you have one?   Should i get 301 or 305 model?  Do you use the hart rate monitor?    Has it really helped to improve your training?    Has it helped you become a better runner?
