Spinning and sweating to the tunes with Angela!  tried on the Strassburg Sock last night.  I am sure it is going to take a while to get use to.   I had a dream that i was going to run the marathon and i was stuck in some house looking for my shoes when the gun went off.   What a bad feeling.

Im  Back!   Ran a simple 8 miles tonight.   Felt pretty good.   a little warm.   Foot felt a little better.   The Steassburg sock must of helped some.  Plus i have been icing it during the day.

Bill I wish I could say it was a Large Coke and a burger that made me feel bad, but actually I've been eating pretty healthy lately. I don't know what it was just feeling a little dizzy and a headache, I did get a pretty good nights rest so I should be ready to go for the rest of the week. I got signed up for St. George yesterday

no i'm not running this weekend. i was going to, but changed my mind. i just don't feel very competitive yet because i'm not fast, so i'm not running every possible race because it starts to add up just to run for fun. i am still racing quite a bit though- i'm doing the cotton days 10k next weekend.

bill do you have a golf ball? you should set it on the floor & slowly roll it with good pressure over the bottom of your foot, especially where it hurts most. i'm beginning to develop a theory about plantar fascitis (as a massage therapist.) i was studying my anatomy books, namely the foot & the muscles of the sole. i have a strong hunch that plantar's is due to knots in the bottom of the foot, not inflammation of the fascia, because a.) the whole body has a fascious covering- there's fascia over all the muscles, it's just thicker in some places (i.e. the sole of the foot & the IT band) so if it really is the fascia inflamed, then why isn't there more "itis" conditions in the muscle groups? there's not! there's just knots, which is what i think is going on in cases of "plantars" and b.) the reason for "itis" conditions is because some area of the body is being pulled too forcefully. in the case of plantars, the knots of the foot are causing the muscles to shorten, thus pulling on the tendons/fascia.

try the golf ball idea. hold pressure on your most tender areas. are you running with the club tomorrow?

bill, i figured it out. i actually work with a guy who is amazing at understanding & fixing aches & pains. if this thing keeps bothering you, you can come see me for $50 your first visit- expensive, i know & apologize, but i'm telling you it works. i just learned how to cure plantars.
