Quality time with sweet Angela!      I asked her if she knew CPR!  She told me that it would disrupt her work out!    Well I guess i better not have a problem.

Another hour on the bike tonight. I convinced Anne a young (single) girl from work to come and work out.   I wore the same clothes i wore this morning and man did i stink it up.

Bill, you're hilarious! Good job on bringing someone out to exercise. Hmmm, not so sure about wearing the same clothes. Way to score some points with a young (single) girl! - just kidding.

Bill - from this picture it looks like you have extra 15 lb or so in the upper body, and it looks like it will go with proper diet. For a master, diet has much more serious effect than for a college runner because the natural metabolism starts going down. Also, I have a hunch that tempo runs tend to improve metabolism. Try adding 3 miles of tempo at about 6:20 pace a couple of times a week, that should go well with the dietary improvements.

For the diet, I would recommend focusing on quality and not worry about quantity. Lots of fruit and vegetables to clean out the bowels. Lots of grains. Very little meat, restrict it to poultry or fish, and no more than once a week. Absolutely no junk.
