Welcome to June.  I was looking like grandpa Jed this morning. just schuffling along and James and Dave Ran upn from behind me.   I was so glad to see them.  They helped me pick up the pace.  Made my run so much more enjoyable.  thanks guys for letting me tag along.

7 more miles today at 4 pm.  this will probably be the last week i can run at that time for the rest of the summer.  was around 85-90 degres.

Nice morning for a run.  felt prety good.  paraformis is a little sore.  will do interval work tonight. 

 

Interval night.   no del taco  boo.    had all i could eat at golden coral.  feeling it.  got to the gym a little late only had time for 1 mile warm up.  then hit 4 x 1 mile repeats 5:27 pace.  one 1200 at 5.27  with last  400 at 4:47 pace.  Rock and roll.     feeling pretty good, left quad a little sore.    

Steve H. called me with some great news.     and I talked to Robin for an hour last night.

good morning and no sweet Angela. had a boring sub with sub standard music.  Not a pretty morning.  Boo.      weight, chest , Abs afterwords.    would like to get in 10 more tonight!  wherather is looking good for it.  a little cooler down here

Running in the rain was just awesome.   had a grand time getting wet and soaking it all in.

another 5 tonight.    went hiking all day with some girl named Robin at Zion.  She can really book down some of those trails.  Did not get home until 11:00 PM.    missed the club run :(:(

Went and helped out with a 10 k    , ran a few miles with Dustin afterwords.     really easy day. missed racing.  But i sure enjoyed watching Dave , Dustin. James, Marci, Kendrik  race.

easy miles.   nothing special.     Mondays are always hard for me to get anything going. I do not know how people do speed work on mondays.    

signed up for the summer Games 10 k today.     going to rock this race with a new PR.

got up and felt Sick.  Getting up at 4:15 in the morning can do that to a person.   Drove over to the store and met up with Marcie.  She was ready to rumble.  I told her this was highly mentally irregular to get up this early.  I told her she need to provide me with 5 names for my little black book.   they must be woman under 50 this time.    Good run over all.   As usuall the climb out of snow canyon feels like  I am fighting the force of a black hole. 

We met up with Mike W about 5 miles out.  Nice to run with Mike.

Workin it with sweet Angela,   and hearing the rumble from metalica!   had a great time.  Getting psyched for utah summer games.    Bring on the 10 k.      will run another 8-10 tonight

Five easy miles this morning.

April does wonders.  feel so much better.   went and visited with Robin last night.  she prepared a  chicken salad to die for.   totally awesome of her to do this for me.  left her place around 11:30.  

7:30 breakfast :   smoothie    pamagranite,  1/2 cup milk,    1 toast with grape jam.

9:30 lar a bar  apple pie.

Ran utah summer games 10 k.  Had a real good time.  picked up Robin at 5:15 AM  then picked up Dustin and headed to cedar city.     nice weather.

I was running in front of Dustin for the first couple of miles then Dustin started to pull away.  kept him in my sights  but i could not catch him.    good race over all.   Felt i couldof pushed it a little more on mile 4-5.

8.5  tonight with the guys.   they did tempo. I had nothing in the gas tank to put up with 2 mile blowout.

WBR was Awesome.      Meeting many of the best runners on the Blog was what Clyde would say “ Making Memories” We had two great teams.  Both the Blue and the White teams ran with Guts.    I need to thank Steve Hooper and Shasha for letting me have this great experience.   Thanks Guys. 

 

We had a start time of 5 pm in Ogden.  The first few legs seemed Very warm.  I was glad my leg did not start until 8:40 at night.   I was put in Van GO GO.    At first I was nervous, because I only knew Steve Olsen and ran with him a few times.      Our Van of Spartans were, Steve O, Kory W, Stephen C, James M, Andrew M, It was a honor to run with these great warriors.      The legs we ran   were short.  Sleeping in the Van and in the parking lot was the most difficult.     I must say our Van of Spartans were Awesome.  I am glad I got to know theses guys.    Great team, Great times.   “Get busy living or Get busy dying.”

I met up with Dave, Logan, Marci, Hayden at Logans place.   5 am comes  so early.     Just ask Dustin and Steve.  I called Dustin and he sounded so aweful!  Are you awake?  I ask.  a    yea i think so.    Are you going to run with us?   aaaaaa   i think so.  Go back bed!    Logan has planned out a deadly 20 mile run.    10 miles up behind utah hill and 10 miles back down.    what a killer going up. 

Hayden kept me on a pretty good pace. after 6.5 i was on my  own.  Then the Logan and Dave reeled me in.    

I am Really feeling it now.   I can  hardley walk.   I look like a duck and am walking like a duck.  my nose is running.    I feel like a truck hit me.  Did any one get the license plate?
