Today met up with our little group  we will call goldilocks and the 3 bears.  Marci, Mike, Bruce and  myself.  We decided to run a new course and we started out from the recreation center.   And ran toward green springs golf course then back down river road to 100 south and down by the college and back to the Reek center.   Marcy said we avgas 7:01 on   her Garmin.

We ran about 9 miles.   I went into the rec center and ran 4 more miles.  Decided I needed to do some intervals so I did 3 one-mile intervals.  Each one set at 5:27 pace.  The  last mile cool down was avg 6 min pace.  Nice work out.

Bull, you're an animal. You already have a ton of miles this week. I'm planning on doing some 1000m repeats tonight after work and then maybe a few more easy miles. I really need to get my butt out of bed in the mornings.

I'm planning on doing the 20 mile race on Saturday. Sunny is going to volunteer, but I need to get in at least two more 20 milers and next weekend I'll be out of town. I'll probably do my last 20 miler on the 20th. Anyway for the race I would like to try to average between 6:20-6:30 pace, which I think would be a good workout for me.

Good job on the miles! 5:27 is flying. Here comes a 2:49 for the Bull at STG.

Thanks for the nice b-day compliment! Sometimes I wish I was back at 21 but not all the time!

Great job Bill. Which race are you running this week-end. I have timing duties again, so I'm not running. I am planning an 18 the next Sat. out to Kayenta. You are welcome to join me for that one. I am going to run easy and steady that Sat. Probably ave. 6:45
