Ran a few miles with the club.  I had to stop and stop and stretch out the back.   I have visited the chiropractor 7 x and have not gotten much better.   Maybe it is time to get a cortisone shot.   I will schedule an appointment with a sports medicine doctor.  Anybody have any recommendations for a sports medicine doctor in Saint George area?

Bill, Dr. Jevsevar, with Zion Orthopaedics, phone # 251-2650. He is the Doc that performed my knee surgery. He is hard to get into, (very busy), but he's good. His assistant is K.C. Hafen, he could also give you the shot and you would be able to get into him much faster. You still ran pretty good on sat, even with the pain. Have you decided to bag Painters? Cows may come and Cows may go, but the BULL goes on forever! You will be back!

I have been to Jevsever when i had Planters and a fot fracture. He is good. but hedoes not do anything for the back.

Cortisone only relieves the pain it doesn't fix the problem, I know. I would weight the options before getting shots that will eventually not work and can screw up your nervous system. Look into a massage.

thanks James! I guess i will give Steve the Massage guy a call.

James is right, Cortisone should never be the first option. Although I feel it does have it's place. My wife and also a good friend of mine had planters so bad, walking was diffucult. Both had great success with the shot, my wife now in her third year with no pain. Bill, we have been trying to get you to call massage Steve!! You can do it, One Call that's all!!

If massage Steve isn't what you want to do find a massage Amber like I did.

Everything has its place and can be beneficial if used correctly. But drugs and surgery should be some of our last options.

Chiropractors are good at breaking up the scar tissue so that you have more movement in your muscles, tendons, and ligaments. But if the problem is muscle related then a massage can loosen you up the best.

James, I almost feel i am at the last resort. I have had this problem since October after During and after Saint George.
