20 miles . Metup at the store with a solid group of runners.  Good runners. the kind that put fear into a mans eyes.  The kind that make you wonder why you even showed up.    Mike, Bruce, Logan,  and the spirit of Steve!    Marci , Hayden,  Eric, James.  and another Girl who decided the price was just too high to pay,  and high tailed it out of there before we started off.   We All crammed into Mikes truck. What a guy! What a nice guy.   Every one was doing great until i started to put Vapor rub on my legs.  then suddenly Mike and Bruce and Marci wanted to bail out.   I told Marci that it was better then Pepper spray!    Mike almost told me to get out of his truck.

We droped Mike and Bruce off at 15   and Mike was kind enough to let me drive his truck to the 20 point.  (Mike your truck clears giant boulders and jumps streams with  ease.)   What a truck!

5  Brave souls took off from 20.  On our dark journey looking for road kill.  Logan, Eric, Marci, James,  and myself. Marci took the lead,  She had enough of the smell and was not going to hang back.  Soon after,  we all took off at a very comfortable pace.  so comfortable it reminded me of  a fluffy pillow.   after about a mile of warm fuzzy and barley avoiding head on trouble with a few cars.  (thanks logan) I decided to pick up the pace and get the show on the road.  (No head phones, No AC/DC  Nothing.  This run was going to be about just me and the road and trying to live with my self for the next 18 miles.  Finished and  avg 7 min pace. i was a little disapointed.  Wanted to run faster then that.    But this was a nice 20 in the books.

Bull, nobody says it better than you. Hey, great run and you are looking very strong. Thanks for the Sonic treat after, very cool of you. I thought about stopping twice, but I knew the bull was charging down. Did not want to be roadkill!

Nice run Billy Boy, did you get another Power-Aid slush from Sonic. My 25 mile bike ride made me pretty sore, but I'm going to try to hit some miles tonight, when it cools off. Next week is back to the grind of school. Hopefully, the hip cooperates the next few months.
