Today Clyde and I went up to Steve’s home. We met Dustin at Steves place. On the way up Clyde and I were amazed at how many people were running the marathon course. We must have seen around thirty men, woman and children all dodging speeding cars. When we got to Steves place he had an adventure all mapped out. A rumble in the jungle! A dog eat dog path. As we were running, I could almost hear the faint sound of banjos echoing through the distant canyons. Childhood songs of “over the river and through the woods to grandmother house we go” came to mind. All was well until mile ten and Clyde put on the after burners. In the end Steve cooked up a great breakfast. I felt relieved that I was able to run that far. I met my goal of 42 miles this week. iam shooting for 50 next week. will try and do two a days at least twice next week.

Bill:

I would suggest doing another two weeks of 40-45 and get used to it before you start doing 50.
