It was a good day to meet up with friends and Run a half marathon.   All the stars were there.  Dave, Clyde, Steve, Buddah, Bigfoot and Mustang.   I had a decent race. Not a great race. But much better then St. George Half.    There were about 900 people running today and many out of town people.  The first mile was on pace and i just wanted to try to keep a fairly even pace.  All the elite runners were out of site after mile 2 and i was with the second group of guys.  Bigfoot put the hammer down  and started seperating from me around mile 3.   Budah did  the same.   I just kept the pace even and i did not want to go to much faster.  trying to save some for the last 6 miles.  Aounnd mile 7 things started to click and i found  some energy.  So i picked up the pace  to 6:18    and held that until the Hill around mile nine.  The Hill was a Bear  but i managed to push over it.   From that point my  pace was in the 6:40  Range to the finish.    Left hamstring is a little tender.  But the body feels great, and i can resume training Monday.

Smart race plan and very well executed. Good job Billy. If you keep racing like this you'll blow 3hrs out of the water this year.
